Blogging Considerations

Here are some things we need to consider as we create our blogs.

1. Our blog's purpose:

• To showcase our experiences in the institute.
• To reflect upon concepts covered in class and in activities during the institute.
• To work as a team to create a unique blog.
• To practice writing skills for our audience.
• To have fun and create memories!

2. Our audience

• Sponsors
• Oregon Migrant Coordinators and Staff 
  
• Parents
• Other participants

3. Appropriate netiquette:

• Be respectful! Participation in this blog is a privelege. If disrespectful behavior is exhibited, you will loose this privelege.

4. Privacy and online safety issues 

• Only use your first name
• Do not give information such as your school or age.

Please be mindful of each of these ideas everytime you make a blog post or comment! We are here to learn and to encourage each other in a respectful manner.
